PEER HEALTH WORKER

 

The Peer Health Worker programs offer opportunities to…..

· Meet with other parents and families in your community to talk about parenting, health and children.

· Meet with people who offer support and parenting advice in a respectful and confidential way.

 

Attend workshops on topics like:

· Being the parent you want to be

· Parenting in stressful times

· Healthy child development

· Safety tips

 

 

COMMUNITY NUTRITION WORKER

 

Community Nutrition Worker programs offer opportunities to……

· Prepare and cook food that is healthy and that you and your family will like.

· Talk about ways to eat well while saving time and money.

· Link to food resources.

 

Attend workshops on topics like:

· Cooking on a shoe-string budget

· How to make your own baby food

· Building healthy eating habits for you and your family

CRAFTS AND INSPIRATIONAL CLASS

 

Join other women for a time of creativity. Share your own crafting

skills with others and learn something new.

This is also a time to share and encourage each as we learn from one another.
